I totally agree with this statement: The biological compulsion to survive and reproduce in a world of scarcity is the root of all violence.

What concerns me more, however, is that it also leads to the scarcity of love as a source of life-giving energy. Children raised in homes devoid of love and caring all too often live a life of hate and the many forms of violence it encompasses.

This could lead into a long discussion, so I will leave this here for the time being.

Thanks. This is the childhood adversity that I mentioned:

In what I call the Fifth Epoch:

There should be very little of that, if any.

It will be hideously ironic if humankind and planet earth cease to exist as a safe place for biological life while the solution — free energy — is staring us in the face, literally.

An octave leap in integrity and consciousness is required to avert that fate.

Yes, but only a tiny fraction of us has to make that "leap":

As Michael said, a third of ensouled species that can manipulate their environments do not make it past the stage where we are right now:

As sleepwalking through the incarnation cycle is apparently normal:

I guess that there are also valid lessons to be learned if we make Earth uninhabitable, but I don't want to learn them! :)
