But Dennis tried to give it to him, Pat decided to put $150K into it instead, and then pulled out when his advisors thought that Dennis's program looked too much like a pyramid scheme. It wasn't, unless we call all multilevel marketing plans a pyramid scheme. It was the double-edged sword of what Dennis did. His programs had explosive growth that inspired the greed of those involved, attracted actual gangsters, and it also attracted the Establishment's hit men to end the threat to corrupt economic empires, including the biggest one on Earth. They came at him from all directions, and it was why I stopped believing in the businessman's path to free energy long ago.
That Christian fanaticism of Dennis's was definitely a downside to what he did, and it reflected his migrant-farmworker upbringing, IMO. But it also gave him a lot of the "faith" that he had to keep going.
